Free Workshop on Wildfire Safety and Planning
The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District (Metro Fire) is sponsoring a free workshop on assessing wildfire hazards in the home ignition zone.

Mariposa County Hunter’s Fire Update
The Hunter’s Fire is now 1,300 acres and 20% contained according to CAL FIRE. This Coulterville area wildfire started yesterday May 26 with a structure fire that spread to surrounding vegetation.
