Simple home hardening steps were taken. The simple things can make all the difference.

Firewise Madera County (FMC) and the Eastern Madera County Fire Safe Council (EMCFSC) collaborate per the 2012 statewide MOU between the California Fire Safe Council and the NFPA Firewise Communities program.
Working with CAL FIRE and other local agencies, FMC and the EMCFSC are able to amplify collaborative efforts by leveraging scarce resources.
