Project 1 Cascadel Ranch Greenbelt is a collaborative effort with Madera County Service Area 21 conceived of and spearheaded by the Cascadel Ranch Fire Safe Council in collaboration with the Eastern Madera County Fire Safe Council Inc and the County of Madera.
Greening the 45 acres of public land in Cascadel Ranch along with the removal of dead and dying vegetation, standing and down, throughout the 45 acres is the primary objective.
In collaboration with Firewise Madera County and Firewise.org of the NFPA, the Cascadel Ranch Fire Safe Council is currently earning Firewise Communities USA recognition for all 480 acres of Cascadel Ranch to facilitate moving projects forward along with raising consciousness.
